The enormous Gulf between environmental movements in places like Nigeria and other countries in less affluent world, when compared to those green movements which have emerged in advanced industrial nations.in the case of the latter, post material or “higher order ” concerns, such as wilderness values, have dominated agendas. In the majority world where most people live environmental movements fight for basic human survival.
